What is Remanufacturing?

Remanufacturing is a standardized industrial process that restores worn heavy vehicle parts or whole vehicles to meet equivalent performance, reliability and service-life specifications of brand-new products. It differs fundamentally from simple repair or cosmetic refurbishment: repair only fixes a single fault, while refurbishment mostly focuses on surface renewal.

True remanufacturing follows strict core principles including full disassembly, complete inspection, systematic replacement of worn components, bench performance testing and standardized quality certification.
